You Say It's Your Birthday

We had my lobster birthday-dinner last night, and today I have big plans for celebrating. We have a mixed couples event at our course, so Hubbie and I are off for my birthday 18. The kids gave me a John Daly lion head cover that I'm dying to put to use.

The last time I played golf on my birthday, I was pulled off the course on the ninth hole because Golfing Son broke his arm jumping off a swing. I'm hoping today goes better, but might demand he only play video games this afternoon--just in case.

To top it off, I will watch my TiVoed Women's U.S. Open coverage upon my return from the course. I just need to avoid the televisions in the bar after our event. Until then, I'm turning off the computer and enjoying the day. Cheers!
