I have been debating whether to share these videos or not. My golfing pals all said it was okay, but I wasn't sure until I read a comment by "Anonymous" on Patricia Hannigan's Golf Girl's Diary about cussing and farting with his buddies on the course. NO we do not fart in this video, but I do pick my nose.
Honestly, it got me thinking. I play with some very competitive ladies–who are an absolute blast. We take our game very seriously, but we have so much fun on the course. I'm pretty sure we keep it fairly clean in this video, but I can't say the same of other footage.
This is the only video I have properly loaded so far. It is the first of a series I will call "Golf Girls Gone Wild." This one is actually pretty tame, but it gives you an idea of how much smack we give each other on the course.
I will set up this video up by saying, my friend and I had just been blown off my another golfing pal who changed plans and decided to play with her hubby and boys. That was fine, but her communication was another issue. We almost lost our tee time!
You will hear me demonstrate the proper way to use GITH. Finally you see the chairman of the Birdie Club miss her birdie attempt keeping one more dollar in my pocket.

When you were saying "almost..." I kept flashing back to my "almost hole in one" last week when I hit the pin on my par 3 drive. So fun!
We would so have fun playing a round together! You both have lovely swings and great style. And being a bit short is better than in the water, yes?
My golfing gal pal had to find a job & go back to work, so I'm back to playing with the *geriatric boys* that hubby plays with. sniff! sniff!

Very nice - good swings - good routines - AND !!! - even with the constant stream of yacking...errr...commentary, you two played the hole in 6:17. Excellent pace of play !
Keep this on your iPod to show the next yahoo that says all women play slow...then take their money on the course. :-)
(I noticed you snapped away from the butt shot when your cart buddy picked her ball up, but she kept the camera on you for the nose picking scene.) ;-)

That is SO awesome! I don't think there are many guys on any golf course anywhere who wouldn't welcome you two to play with them. You're both "fun, flirty and fashionable" to use my well-worn cliche, and you both have serious game. Look forward to watching more.
Oh by the way, my sis tells me she's looking for a place to "warehouse her daughter" so we can go down to FL too. LOL.

You know...it's becoming increasingly difficult for me to not post comments here that would be considered inappropriate by most (all?). Great video.
OK as far as the swing goes–I am the Queen of Overswing. But it is improving.
My shot was not really a "knock down" now that I watch it on video–which I HATE to do. It's kind of like hearing your voice. It never looks (or sounds) like you think it should. LOTS to work on.
We definitely "yack" as Court put it, but we do play fast. This was taken when the course was super wet and not many fools ventured out.
Hack, "inappropriate" is always welcome here. In fact, much of the future video is "inappropriate." If I can ever get it to work.
Has anyone ever used a program called "Pinnacle?"
I'll keep the vids coming as long as we concentrate on the entertainment value and not my big overswing.

"Overswing" ? That wasn't an "overswing" - it just wasn't a knockdown swing. That was a very smooth full swing and you caught the ball a little chunky.
(just noticed something - when someone is giving advice and uses the phrase "you can do it IF" - be careful. your head will focus on the one thing they said and the rest of the swing can very easily get out of kilter)
oh - I have Pinnacle but got rid of it and replaced it with Adobe Premier Elements 7.0
Nice video! It seems you are an aspiring golfer, however the simplest fundamental of alignment is hard for you to grasp. The last time I saw someone line up in that fashion was in Caddyshack when Mrs Havercamp was playing pinball in trees.

LOL, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to comment on my lame alignment tool. I've been told only hacks do that, but I've seen some awesome players do it too.
It's a crutch. Especially on short accuracy shots. But you will be happy to know it has been eliminated from my pre-shot routine.
If I had a caddy, like the gals on the LPGA, I think my routine would appear much more professional!
What is your definition of awesome players? When I think of awesome players, Tiger, Jack & Bobby Jones come to mind. I have never see them align themselves this way
